Comrie Pipe Band are a small local, non competing band, with enthusiastic members ranging from 7 to 80yrs old (including one wheelchair member).

They're well know in the local area, playing at many local events through out the year including Crieff Highland Games and the Comrie Flambeaux parade at Hogmanay.

A group of visitors from Maureillas, France seen the band playing last summer and loved them (why wouldn't they?). They got in touch to invite the band to go to their village for a cultural exchange this October.

The band jumped at the chance to go (not so much the day and a half bus trip), so now need to raise some funds to get them there.

To help with the costs various members are doing some sponsored events.

2nd June - George (Treasurer), Louise (Bass Drum) & Corrie (Piper) are cycling the 100 miles Breadalbane cycle loop.

8th June - Ian (Drum Sergeant) and the drummers (mainly junior members) are taking on a walk from Comrie to Callander, 13 miles of hill walking.

8th June - Susie (Secretary/QM) is completing a 30 mile duathlon, swimming across Loch Ericht and a mountain run.
