Whilst working for a good friend as a delivery driver for his restaurant . My friend told me that he and his partner were struggling at his restaurant and in order to continue trading I was asked to put the business into my name as the business  was in difficulty  and the bills would be halved as a new venture is started .I had known my friend for a number of years and trusted him, he assured me it was a genuine case and not a stitch up.

When I signed the lease and the new business was signed into my name I was assured by my friend , that he and his partner would continue to pay the bills . I was also assured, that this was in no way illegal and offered to help in return for a permanent position in the business .

 However 2 weeks after trading , my friend and his business partner gave me the keys to the restaurant   saying " its now in your name,  it's your  problem  not ours " . They said they could not afford to pay , leaving me with a lease and business rates with the council to pay .  I then found out it was in my friends name not my friend and his partners.  I've tried all avenues . Only to be told there was nothing I could do, as my friend had registered all company details in my personal name . Therefore personally being pursued,  for rent of shop and rates . 

I no longer have keys to the  restaurant , never even traded after the 2 weeks , but still being chased for money , with total of £25,000  per annum for next three years (contract ) up to the break clause .

This has put immense pressure on my family life  and health . I have  been told that the council will send baliffs , I now stand to loose my home, including my children , wife , and our little dog.

This is my  desperate  attempt to try to resolve this immense financial burden . All I have left is my wife and kids . Please, they are all I have left . I Only wish I had known earlier. I thought I was helping a friend out ,only to be stabbed in the back .
This now becomes my final option.
