My names Connie and I’m currently studying at Robert Sutton secondary school and am in year 11 about to take my GCSEs .I am also hoping to continue my education there for sixth form,because of this I have recently been offered the opportunity to go to Peru in 2019, but to do this I must raise a total of £4350. I will be going for a total of 4 weeks and whilst in Peru we will be doing things to assist the wildlife and the community. We will be doing a variation of things like; constructing buildings like schools and housing, improving the healthcare and sanitation by installing and developing local amenities, creating a communal greenhouse to provide vegetables all year round which will help combat the hunger and malnutrition suffered by many people there, replanting trees to offset deforestation and also digging irrigation channels to bring water from the mountains to nearby farms and houses providing a more consistent and reliable water source for people nearby.
