    Story

Contact Improvisation India is a not-for-profit organisation that gathers teachers and practitioners of contact improvisation from 10 states in India. Started as a social initiative 3 years ago, the organisation focuses on building the local community of dancers, facilitating workshops, and organizing international events.

CI is a dance form that has been brought to India by European and American teachers. It is focused on the exploration of the physics of movement and improvised movement experimentation with others with and without involvement of physical contact.
