Story
Hello, and welcome to my fundraising page!
After running the Birmingham half marathon, I’ve been training like crazy to run a full marathon. A full marathon is 26.2 miles and should take me approximately 5 hours!!!
On April 28th, I will be ‘lucky’ enough to be taking part in the LONDON MARATHON, fundraising for the Neonatal unit at Birmingham City hospital where I work as a neonatal sister, caring for premature and sick babies and supporting their families.
I have chosen to fundraise for this charity to not only raise funds to provide supportive and developmental care on the unit, but in tribute to my amazing daughter Thaila, who was born at 27 weeks at City hospital in 2008, and is my biggest inspiration for this race.
