Weʼve raised £585 to help pay toward flights for me to be able to take part in Red Tree Study's Peacebuilding in Colombia Programme

Story
This money will help me pay towards flights so I can take part in the Red Tree Study's Peacebuilding in Colombia Programme, the programme has been paid for and it would be a shame for me to be unable to take part due to the expenses of flights. As I do not have these funds my line manager suggested JustGiving as a way to crowdfund.
This really is such an amazing opportunity and a once in a lifetime opportunity as this will be one of my first experiences travelling alone, and during one of my modules this year about deeply divided societies really sparked my interest in this programme. It is my dream to one day work towards conflict resolution for the UN and I really believe that this programme is my first step in achieving this goal.

5 years agoJust want to thank everyone who made this possible, I'm leaving in a week and will be sure to post plenty of pictures! The remaining £80 will be donated to a charity called Children Change Colombia as recommended by Red Tree Study so I'll post a little picture when I receive the remaining £80. Again, thank you to everyone who donated.

5 years agoFlight has been booked! Got a flight there and back, including insurance for £861.92. Thank you to everyone who donated this will no doubt be an amazing experience! If anyone would like to continue to donate any further donations beyond the raised £505 will go to a charity called Children Change Colombia as reccomended by the programme when I got in touch with them about this justgiving page. Again thank you all so much!
