This page has been set up to raise funds to support a young family in their time of need.

A little over a month ago our good friend Crunchie (Michael Dabell) was involved in an accident at work whereby he suffered life changing injuries.

The impact caused a fracture to his skull which resulted in severe swelling on the brain; he subsequently underwent major surgery to relieve the pressure which saved his life.

Having spent weeks in an induced coma he is now awake in ICU. Although stable the long-term result of his injuries are yet unknown.

The road to recovery will be long where he will need the support of those around him to help him through.

At the time of the accident his beloved wife Leah was 8 months pregnant and on 22nd of August she welcomed a beautiful baby boy to the world, Fynnley Jay Dabell.

Both Mum and baby are doing well and can’t wait for Daddy to enjoy these special moments.

Since the accident Leah has been inundated with offers of support from friends and family. The response is a testament to Crunchie.

We have set up this page as a platform for people to donate if they wish so that we can offer Crunchie, Leah and Fynnley the support to help them through this unfortunate time.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at Southampton General Hospital for their fantastic care so far.
