I have heard about the Daisy Palmer trust before through friends who had played on the golf days but never really knew the story.

On my new round at work it turns out that I deliver to Daisy and her family and I have gradually spoken to them about what Daisy has been through and is still going through and it really stuck with me.

This is not a charity it is a trust and is there to help the family with anything they might need to help make Daisys life more comfortable, This can vary from adaptions to their house to things to entertain and occupy Daisy and whilst her family do all they can any help is greatly appreciated as I am sure you will realise this all comes at a considerable cost

I aim to cycle the French Alps next year climbing some of the Tour De France's most iconic climbs including Alpe D'Huez and the Col du Galibier and would like to use it to raise awareness of Daisys plight and try and raise any money I can along the way to help this wonderful family
