I am going to Sri-Lanka and volunteering for four weeks in March 2019, with a company called SLV.Global. Here, I will be working with youths and at-risk children in residential care homes, psychiatric hospitals and community outreach projects. I will be promoting positive mental health, teaching conversational English and role modelling life skills. This opportunity allows me to gain at least 40 hours of practical experience and training in mental health settings.
