    Story

Hello, we are the GAP students. We are a college group from Birmingham devoted to learning about conservation with the National trust. We are doing a sponsored 13 mile walk along the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast path and will be carrying out a beach clean, focusing on plastic and non-biodegradable waste. This will be to raise money for the Fields Millennium Green Trust. The trust is a small charity that takes care of a local green space in Kings Norton Birmingham. Millennium green is a big part of the local community that is loved by families and children alike and is also a popular destination for dog walkers. This site was saved from development by the trust of local people and receives no government or council funding. Millennium Green operates on a tiny budget, so any donation will be extremely appreciated.

Donations will go towards improving access for all, through improving and repairing the current paths and adding more seating. The money will also benefit our wildlife conservation work by improving the wildflower meadow for all the pollinators, extending the orchard and improving the hazel coppice and other habitats.

Thank you for taking your time to read about our campaign. We hope you choose to support our project. There will be regular updates about our progress on our page.
