Hey Guys

Thank you for visiting our 'Just giving' page and thank you for your time so far, it truly does mean a lot, not only to us but to the individuals who will be the direct beneficiaries of the donations made.

So... the reason why your reading this is because we want to help support Women in Coventry who are in need of refuge because of Domestic abuse, homelessness and drug and alcohol addiction.

CHERISHED HEARTS is one of those refuges that we've come to learn about and love. We've had the opportunity to speak to some of the service users, volunteers and founders and we've been blown away by the amount of Love, understanding, compassion and vision that permeates from the Cherished Hearts HQ.

Cherished hearts was founded with the aim to help vulnerable women and their children, within the city of Coventry whilst offering personal and practical support, ongoing friendship and mentoring, all provided by their wonderful volunteers.

For over 7 years they have encouraged and supported women escaping abuse, domestic violence, addiction, and prostitution. ..They exist to give hope to women and children on the margins of society and enable them to begin to walk away from life-controlling situations that keep them in bondage. Cherished Hearts call this 'JOURNEY TO FREEDOM'.

Cherished hearts have the vision to buy a house called the 'House of Hope', where women can join a residential programme, giving the support and tools they need to break free from a destructive cycle of behavior. They are working on an effective model that places this programme firmly at the heart of the local church and community. Thereby enabling the women to access relationships that will continue beyond an 8-month programme. The church they partner with is Mosiac Church, Coventry - https://www.mosaicchurch.co.uk

Cherished Hearts meet weekly in the Hope Centre in Hillfields and offer other activities and courses to help build self-esteem and confidence, as well as hosting inspirational speakers.

We are doing this in two phases! For Phase 1, please help us raise a target of £2000 for this amazing charity! The deadline we have given ourselves for this phase is the 4th of February 2019

This money will be used to help the charity provide for their vision of a 'House of Hope' in Coventry, whilst offering the necessities for those women who unfortunately need to use the services that Cherished Hearts provides.(Clothing, food a place to stay etc)

It doesn't stop there though wonderful people...

PHASE 2?

In August this year we have both decided to do a Cherished hearts SKY DIVE! Yes you read it right. This is not just for the fun of it. As nervous as we are, there is a deeper meaning as to why we're doing this. We wanted to have a connection between us leaping out of a plane and the leap of faith these BRAVE Women have to take when they decide "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" and the HUGE step they have to take when they say No to abuse, No to addiction and YES to RECOVERY!

So as we prep ourselves for this massive feat, we will keep everyone updated on our journey.
