Story
Our son Daniel Warren Bostock was born at 4.35am on Thursday 10th November 2016. Unfortunately Daniel didn’t arrive into this world the way we expected.
Daniel was born suddenly via category 1 c-section but sadly he didn’t breath for the first 25 minutes of his life. This period of reduced oxygen unfortunately caused significant damage to his brain and shortly afterwards we was told he had severe Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy or HIE. We was told that Daniel wouldn’t survive but after nearly 7 weeks in hospital he was finally discharged and allowed to come home. Daniel has come so far and fought so many battles and done things we were told he never would do.
Long term Daniel has been diagnosed with hypotonic Cerebral Palsy and will face many challenges along the way. We don't know what Daniel's future holds but we do know he we need a lot of support, treatment and equipment as he grows older. We want to make sure he has the best quality of life and everything he needs to make him as comfortable as possible.
After a lot of thinking and soul searching we made the decision to try and raise as much money as possible. The money raised so far has funded specialist physiotherapy sessions and equipment for Daniel. Longterm we know he's going to need a lot of specialist treatment and equipment.
We appreciate anything anyone can give to help us achieve this and every pound goes a long way.
Thank you from us all and especially Daniel xxx
