Story
I am a above knee amputee currently using a prosthetic socket.
I am trying to have osseointergration done as this would vastly improve the quality of my life .
My current prosthetic socket is very uncomfortable as sit around your bum and groin causing sores and pain.
Osseointergration eliminates all this as it's a implant put directly in my bone the problem I have is that the nhs will not fund this so I have to fund it myself .
So I am hoping trying this may help me
