Date Palm Primary is an Islamic school. It follows the national curriculum and teaches Islamic values and morals. Recently we received an Ofsted rating of 'Good', which is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the school.

As you will deduce, being a faith school means that we do not receive funding. This struggle is one that we have learnt to accept. Our children and their role in Britain in the future is what spurs us on. Being a Muslim comes with its challenges in Britain, however we want our children to feel like they belong here and they have a role to play in society.

Fees cover the cost of the basic running of our school but we hope to offer more to our children. We are planning to improve our SEND department, provide more training for staff, purchase books, chairs, tables and sensory resources.
