Derby Theatre's inspirational and incredibly talented Artistic Director and CEO Sarah Brigham has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in her windpipe, which cannot be operated on and will not respond to radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

The best option for treatment now is Carbon Ion Therapy, which will hopefully stop the cancer from growing or spreading and may offer the best long term prognosis. However, this treatment cannot be funded by the UK health service and the best place Sarah can get this treatment is in Germany.

We need to raise £60,000 so she can receive this treatment.
