After my best mate was diagnosed with pancreatits then acute pancreatits, followed by severe acute pancreatits and then infected necrotic pancreatits ( which is life threatening ) we knew he was in for a battle, of which he would not have faced before.

The rollercoaster ride which he has endured ( and still is ) is nothing short of devastating for us all to see, but as a front seat passenger Nicky and Debbie have properly been pushed to their limits, mentally and physically.

Seeing the care Nicky has received over the last two months and more has been nothing short of phenominal and touching, The Pancreatic Unit have accommadated Debbie who without doubt has been Nicky's best medicine and fluffy rock he has undoubtedly needed to pull him through this ordeal. Profesionally they have given our best mate the care he deserves and the medicine he needs.

I will be running The Liverpool Santa Dash with my 6 year old daughter Ava on 2nd December 2018, all money raised will go to this incredible unit who have looked after OUR mate's Nicky and Debbie, Thanks David and Ava Lloyd xxx
