Those of you that know Fiona will know why I was compelled to open this page. For those that dont know her, she is a single mother of 2 young men, she has raised them by herself for many years. She is a wonderful person and a good friend. She successfully battled breast cancer a few years ago but the last year the cancer came back throughout her body....and is terminal. She has been so brave and tough in fighting it for over a year...I am so proud of her. In the last few weeks she has decided to stop treatment, the chemo and radiotherapy were making her so ill that her quality of life was non existent. She is now spending the time she has left, which cannot be defined, between home and the hospice....but she has still not given up! This page and your donations are so that she can explore alternative treatments that will make her remaining time more comfortable or optimistically prolong life...Imagine being in her position and there may be things that can help but that are expensive...that is where she is now...I just hope should I ever be in that position someone would help me.
