Story
Debbie's life changed
On Friday 31st August our Debbie had a brain haemorrhage from an aneurysm and her life and all those around her changed on a huge scale. She has been fighting ever since, having two major operations and intense rehabilitation.
The idea!
Ali Brown and I (with our nursing hats on) thought that Debbie could benefit from some aids to help her continuing recovery and what better way to do that than to ask for your help.
What are we looking to fund?
We are looking to raise £750 to buy an iPad and other aids, to help stimulate Debbie’s brain using familiar films, photos and programmes. Any left-over money will aid her and her family in other ways.

6 years agoYesterday Ali and Sue went to see Debbie to give her the iPad you so generously donated. Harriet, who Debs OT, said that they have Apps from the Speech and Language department that can go on it to help her more. We bought some flowers and a electronic picture frame, which is being loaded with the hundreds of photos of Debs and you all having a great time. Thank you again, we are keeping this fund going to give Debs some little luxuries while working so hard. Keep going Debs! xxx
