Story
Along with my team mates from work, we will be walking 10K on the 13/10/2018 to try and raise funds forCoverstone care home. We are aiming to Raise in total £500 (our workplace will match any funds raised) to put towards a Tovertafal ( magic table). The Tovertafal is a specialist projector which has in built lights, sensors and games to engage people living with Dementia. This tool aids with communication, and can help to engage those living with effects of Dementia. In addition to this it promotes fine and gross motor skills, helping to keep people active both physically and mentally. The funds we raise will go directly to Cloverstone Care Home to help them purchase this ground-breaking piece of equipment which costs around £5500 to buy.
