I teach a regular tuesday lunchtime yoga class for iCan. The class is growing but without a dedicated room we can’t get much bigger. I want my students to have the best experience possible and at the moment we practice where we can around gym equipment and in the open. With a dedicated space yoga will flourish here among the band of lovely ladies wanting to know about this life enriching practice. This studio would have virtual classes so those less able could use it. So although a self confessed cowardly custard I have agreed to join them in abseiling off the civic centre. 135 feet of terror for me😂😂. You will be unsurprised to know this is the first time I have ever done anything like this.

Saturday 13th October I will be there to step off the top of the Civic Centre Carlisle with my student Sarah and others and I don’t mind saying the idea is pretty scary for a teacher of gentle movement Hatha yoga with breath! I think some deep yogic breathing maybe in order!😂
