Meet Stanley Morgan Aged 8 with the most beautiful soul.

Diagnosed with Autism at just 17 months old, Stan also has extreme Sensory requirements, and awaiting diagnosis on hyperlexia. This means Stan is full of energy, he is on the go constantly, he also screams loudly and plays “white noise” this is to reduce his sensory needs. What is also fascinating about Stan is he is not very communicative, however he can speak and read in many different languages, his mind is so sharp, he just struggles to express himself the way we do.

We are a group of Friends Crowd Funding for adjustments to be made in their home for Stan to flourish in a Sensory adapted environment, his oldest brother has moved out as the noise became too much for him, this has freed up a room where we can completely re furbish as a sensory room and bedroom, Stan has been sleeping with his Mum until now, at 8 years old clearly this needs to be addressed and Stan given his own space, as well as space for Ann-Marie after a tiring day with Stanley.

Ann-Marie is a single mum to Stan, Josh 16 & Ella 13.

By aged 21 she had lost both of her parents through illness, in November 2018 she lost her remaining mother figure her sister Crysta died suddenly at just 46 years old. This is by no means a story for sympathy, she just gets on with it! She is an incredible mum and tries to keep going and doing it all herself, BUT sometimes you just got to “shout for help”.

We are not asking for a huge amount of money, and just £1 from each person we know would be so wonderful. If you are local builders, carpenters etc and want to help please get in touch…….

We are currently working our way through the process, form filling, and waiting for panels for his medical support, whilst we navigate the complex system we are also working on his home life to see what adjustments can help him and help them all as a family.

We are currently working hard to get Stan all the medical support he needs through the various channels available to us in Hereford, this is a long process, whilst this is happening in the background we want to make his home life as good as it can possible be for him, so hence the fund raising.

The family are very proud, and slightly embarrassed that this is happening however we all know at times we all need help, so let’s help, let’s put the local back in the community, and the heart back in the family by pledging just a £1.
