Weʼve raised £310 to replace the damaged container box and reinstall the defibrillator located on John Street (opposite Tesco) in Sale town centre.

Funded on Sunday, 30th June 2019

    Story

The defibrillator on John Street was installed some years ago and funded by a charitable gift. Unfortunately no provision was made for its future maintenance. The container box for the device has been damaged beyond repair. We are asking for support to replace the box with a more substantial model (as recommened by NW Ambulance Service) and to reinstall this life saving equipment in its location.

Please note that, following expert advice, the target has been reduced to £600.

Hi, Just to let you know that the new case has now been installed on John Street in Sale town centre (adjacent to the public toilets and approximately opposite Tesco store). Once again, many thanks to all those who contributed. Regards Barry Brotherton

Hi, Many thanks for all your donations. We raised £310 gross which will be just under £300 after fees are deducted. I have ordered the defibrillator at a cost of £522 including VAT and delivery. Sale Lions Club have generously indicated that they will donate the difference. I hope to get it installed free of charge. Regards Barry Brotherton

Very best of luck with your campaign. Sorry I can’t help more at this time. It’s almost unbelievable that Trafford Council can’t provide this essential service for Sale’s residents.
