Story
In my role as manager of Second Thoughts Community Shop, I see people in need every day. Some just need a friend, others need practicle help with dealing with beaurocracy, some need very practicle help with food, a cooker or beds for the children. We can only do any of this work if we have the momey to do it, so this year, I am raising money to do this.

5 years agoWell that was tough! I managed Liverpool Half, but mostly with pure determination! My ankle hurt most of the way around and there was a lot of walking involved! 2 hours 44 minutes wasn't bad, considering. It was a great course with lots of support, despite the rain. Not least from Suzanne, Claire Ethan and Alice, who popped up a few times and bought me Jelly Babies! Liverpool is a lovely city, but the last 4ish miles along the banks of the Mersey were a wind tunnel straight into our faces! Atleast I was dry by the time I finished!

5 years agoTomorrow is Liverpool Rock and Roll Half Marathon. I have been having problems with my Achilles’ tendon, so haven’t run for 2 weeks, but I’ve been assured by 2 different sports therapists that I’m OK to run, so I’m doing it! If you could sponsor me to help Second Thoughts Community Shop, that would be fantastic! Thank you!
