Weʼve raised £0 to Denver’s Pj Appeal

Closed on Sunday, 1st September 2019

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

So many of you will know I was close to Denver and thought the absolute world of him.

On a visit to the hospital to see Denver he was very poorly and unable to keep his feed in so had a very upset tummy, this meant he went through lots of pairs of pj’s then ran out of clean ones.

    It got me thinking ....

Often children are frequently soiling their pjs through being poorly or often come in without any through A&E and there are no personal washing facilities.

I have decided to buy several sets of pj’s for the Children’s Ward instead of Christmas Cards this year.

Pj’s are as cheap as £3 and can make a child’s stay much more comfortable and can make a child smile at a crap time.

The plans was to start collecting pj’s from November 1st but I’ve had such an amazing response so we are starting to collect now.

I will be keeping a record of sizes so we don’t get too many of the same size.

All I ask is they’re new, with tags, no fleece and no all in ones.

Wanda and I will then take these up to the hospital and keep topping up.

The plan is NNUH but we are aiming for the Queen Elizabeth, James Padget and Addenbrookes.

Several people have asked if they can donate to me due to not being very mobile or a distance away, so I thought the best thing to do was a justgiving page so all donations can be seen and all money donated will go to buying pjs in Denver’s memory.

    Thank you xx
