I have been fortunate in being selected to represent the Western Isles at the Island Games in Gibraltar in July this year. This will be my second time competing for the Western Isles athletics team. I'll be competing in 100m and Long Jump events.

I hope to raise the profile of competitive sports at an International level and encourage local youngsters to aim for this standard of performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for any Island athlete to aspire to be involved in.
