I never thought that i will be doing it, but i am, running a half marathon to raise money for my son's school ( Oakhurst primary school Swindon). I will be running the Swindon half marathon in September.

Our boy Adam who is 5 years old now, was diagnosed with autism. It was a massive shock for me and my husband. We didn't know much about it and it was a bumpy ride, as Adam has his challenges and some issues we need to deal with in everyday life - but he is doing really well with the continued support he receives from us, and other professionals, speach and language therapy, coop nursery by Swindon hospital and ofcourse amazing family and friends.
Adam started Oakhurst primary school in September 2018. All teachers were very supportive and understanding. He has made lots of friends and really looks forward going to school.
All school children would benefit from the sensory room or climbing frame. I would love to help the school.
So as a little thank you for all their fantastic work, i would like to raise some money to support the school and the brilliant work they do with the children. Adam's brother Luke will start preschool in september in this school as well.

It's not only me running the half marathon in September, there are other Mums joining me.
Helen Owen, fabulous lady, Luke's childminder incouraged me to run this marathon. She is running it with me as well.
