Story
Having a child with disabilities myself it has highlighted many areas for which there is a desperate need for extra help. My son is 10, he has autism, sensory processing disorder, oppositional demand defiance, ADHD, global developmental delay, challenging behaviour and epilepsy. He struggles to live in a world not made for him and many others do too. As you can imagine this makes doing things in a world not designed for them very hard to cope with, it limits activities, puts insane amounts of stress upon them and causes a lot of discomfort both mentally and physically.
Our goal is to be able to help families and adults to have a safe place they can go to which is designed for their needs. A place where they can engage or be stimulated by their surroundings in a positive, fun and soothing manner. Rather than feeling the overwhelming strains of busy areas, bustling environments and over stimulation, this offers an oasis for those that need a place designed with them in mind.
Sensory rooms, disabled facilities, sensory toys and books, modifications needed to to be able to make this work all need to be funded to make this even remotely possible. So please help to light up some lives and give people a chance to enjoy their time here.
We will be registering as a charity or CIC as soon as we possibly can to be able to give those who cannot fund things that are needed for their children a chance to improve their lives. This includes equipment that can cost thousands of pounds which will have a huge impact on their daily lives. It is all about giving and knowing you are making a difference in the world.

I am a mum to 3 children, my youngest having ASD, SPD,ODD, ADHD, epilepsy, and global developmental delay. He is my drive for this project! Seeing firsthand how difficult it is to go out with him has propelled me into this venture.
