Iʼve raised £325 to half the cost of Dolly's PDA heart procedure

Story
I adopted Dolly from Many Tears Rescue in June and was told she had a heart murmur but it turned out to be a congenital PDA (pudendal ductus arteriosus) which at her age (3) couldn't be treated without open heart surgery which she probably wouldn't survive, at a cost of £10,000. The vet put her on medication and I came to terms with the fact that she wouldn't have a long life, but that I'd give her a happy one anyway. She's a sweet, loving, kind little soul who deserves a good life. However, last week my vet found a wonderful clinic with specialised cardiologists performing keyhole surgery. So - on Wednesday 17th October my little girl had her op. Her heart has been mended and she now has a long life ahead of her. It cost me all my savings, but she's worth every penny. It has been suggested that I try crowdfunding to help with the cost as I have used my 'safety net' savings up and my only income is a state pension (I'm 65 but don't tell anybody!)
I hate to ask, but raising up to half the cost of the £3800 I paid would be such a blessing

6 years agoSo, it was pay-back time today. Dolly found the stickiest smelliest cow poo and had a good roll. It's a good thing I love her quite a lot...

6 years agoDolly has suddenly realised after 5 days that she isn't getting breathless and doesn't need to rest when she rushes about. Trying to restrict her exercise isn't going down well! This is a picture I took on our walk this morning.
