Dylan and i are both running a 5k funrun which has 10 inflatable obstacles to complete. This in itself will be a challenge as it will all depend on which way the wind is blowing to how dylan will be that day. I may have to carry my four yearold son most of the way as his hypermobility may be an issue. He may become overstimulated and have sensory overload and we may need little time outs, but by god we will finish that race. I want to raise money for the playgroup that Dylan goes to. Dylans playgroup caters for children of all needs and all levels of learning disabilities as well as mainstream. The staff there are the most loving and compassionate people i have ever met, the help and love they have given dylan to come on leaps and bounds is priceless. To place the trust in someone to look after your child is a scarry process but when you have a child that can’t communicate, that process becomes the scarriest experience ever. However when you have to drag your child out of nursery as he doesnt want to leave. Actions speak louder than words. i am asking people for support to help the wonderful staff continue to cater for the children, as i know they end up buying a lot of the supplies themselves. Any help would be greatly appreciated, i can not reccomend this nursery enough especially if you have a child who needs that little bit extra care.. thanks for taking the time to read.
