I have been the victim of domestic violence for the past four years. I have finally had the courage to leave after i suffered the final assault on myself so bad i was hospitalised and been referred to a eye specialist. I have a 13 year old daughter who has had to see me with my face looking like someone else and not her mother that it was so severe. I used to be able to hide my injuries but to the face and your daughter crying and worrying about you seems to wake you up. I have finally pressed charges against him and he is being charged with abh and could recieve a prison sentence upto five years with his past. I am now having to start all over again as he had smashed everything in my house and i mean everything from tvs down to mobile phone cups plates lcd on washing machine slashed sofas we literally have a few pairs of clothes each. We have decided not to go back to the house for our safety but with no money how do we start again. I am asking you amazing people out there to help with as little as you can anything you can give will make a difference to our lives and we would be forever greatful.
