Students from the East SILC Post 16 are fundraising to take a once in a lifetime trip to The Algarve!

The East SILC is a specialist school in the East of Leeds offering exciting and bespoke learning opportunities for a wide range of students with complex physical and learning difficulties.

The Post 16 ethos is all about ensuring that the students have the best possible chance to learn life skills. The school constantly strives to provide our students with real life experiences. This residential will provide them with the chance to enhance and develop these fundamental and vital skills.

The accommodation is fully adapted and unique providing a fantastic opportunity for our disadvantaged students, as this is the first time some will have been abroad.

Your donations will support students who show resilience and determination to overcome daily challenges. These students deserve the opportunity to access a residential which will provide them with a rare opportunity to build on their social and physical skills.

The residential will also provide an opportunity for our students to learn about a new culture, to promote independence skills and to be out in the sunshine having fun with their friends.
