Eddie has been really unlucky in the last year, but we have finally got to the bottom of his problems. Eddie has a large extra hepatic portal shunt which was discovered after going into retention due to urate urinary stones. It's not genetic, but vet has told him its just bad luck that it has happened to him. He has a generous insurance cover, but unfortunately he has used this up and his vet bills are mounting.

So far he has had to have to bladder operations, a urethral operation. Any help would be much appreciated. He is the nicest, happiest puppy in the world and can't wait to come back home.
