The Stairs frontman and singer/musician Edgar Jones is to appear in court on Monday, October 22 faced with an eviction notice due to arrears of over £10,000 on his flat. This was caused by several service charge hikes when the building desperately needed repair. They're not strictly arrears but appear as such on his account and to the court.

Due to good work prospects with DJing and gigging from now into the next year he will be able to maintain payments to start working off the arrears from November. But sadly this will not be enough to halt the notice. He has only recently become fully functioning again after being diagnosed with diverticulitis and depression as a result of it. To lose his home will of course have a devastating effect on him and his family. We are hoping to raise £1500 through this campaign to convince the court of his commitment and dedication to pay off these arrears.
