You may be lucky enough to have met the Carbonel family in Pachacutec, otherwise I'm sure you will have heard myself or others talk about them.

At the beginning of November, Edith was rushed to Jose Grau Central Hospital in agony. Doctors discovered complications with her liver and gallbladder. The initiative was taken to operate as soon as possible but Edith contracted an infection whilst in hospital meaning that she had to endure several weeks of pain before undergoing life threatening surgery.

The surgery was made and several cysts were removed from Edith's liver, which luckily were revealed not to be malignant tumours. Although Edith is on the mend, the Carbonel family obviously still have to pay for various medical expenses that they have incurred: medical supplies, surgery, bed rental, pharmaceuticals, travel costs, the list goes on. The family have been able to borrow the money to pay for the surgery urgently however remain in debt with interest increasing.
