Weʼve raised £665 to Support Women's Aid who helped me through one of the toughest times of my life. On 29th Sept I am doing a 12,000ft skydive to raise funds.

Story
There was a period of time in my life when I needed to use the services of Women’s Aid. I can not speak highly enough of them. I walked into their office with no appointment and they took me through to a private room, where I just sat and cried to them. There was no judgement, no condemnation, just reassurance that this WAS NOT my fault, a cup of tea and a promise to help me. Within two days they put support in place that I never knew existed. They were always on the end of the phone, they reassured me when I thought I was a terrible person and they guided me forward to where I am today. They are an amazing charity who quite literally save lives and I cannot thank them enough.
On 29th September I am doing a 12,000ft skydive to raise money for Newport Women’s Aid. If you would like to donate to this amazing charity that would be great and you will be helping Women's Aid support women and children to become free of abuse.

6 years agoHi Everyone, Thank you so so much for all your kind donations. Each donation gives me a real sense of happiness because I know how much this money is needed and how far it will be stretched to maximise the work that will be done with it. I met with Newport Women's Aid today and they want to pass on their thanks to you all for your generosity. They also need volunteers (jumping out of a plane is a not a requirement!) so if you have any spare time they'd love to hear from you.
