Story
Currently, Sri Lanka, unlike the UK, has no government funding for mental health treatments. Consequently, residents are given no option but to rely on the care provided by volunteers. However, given the distance between the UK and Sri Lanka, along with the cost of necessary inoculations and travel insurance,SLV Global placement volunteering soon becomes a very costly venture indeed. Any amount of money that you could spare will greatly help me on my way to offering much needed care to communities in need.
