I have recently taken on responsibility for a group called Jubilee Friends. The groups aim is to reduce isolation in those aged over 55. I have seen that there are far too many people in our community that are lonley and isolated, and i want to help change this. My aim is to bring people from my generation together with those of the older generation, and this in in turn will reduce loneliness and create greater connection.

We would meet on a monthly basis at the Jubilee Centre, where we would eat together, take part in activities, talk to one another and have fun.

I would use the donations towards the cost of food, trips, activities and transport- for those who need it.
