My cousin Jessica was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at the age of 28. With two small children to care for the news devastated our family. The Maggies centre at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, Fife has helped her and I would like to run my first half marathon for this cause. You can go to Maggie’s for practical, emotional and social support from staff which is good to have for all the family at this time. Jessica has responded well to her first round of chemo which was fantastic news. I will be running the Milton Keynes half marathon on Monday 6th May 2019.
