I am trying to raise money to enable me to leave my partner. We've been together for 9 years, during which time the psychological and financial abuse has gradually escalated.
I am constantly being called names, belittled, made to feel worthless.
This morning he found a pack of chicken in the fridge that is a day past its use by date. He flipped, and said I was a stupid, ignorant piece of ****. No good as a mother as I'm no better than a little girl myself, and the next time he finds something gone off he'll make me eat it.
He controls all of our finances so I have to ask for anything I need, and never have cash of my own because I 'cannot be trusted'.
Since I had my baby girl 5 months ago its got so bad its unbearable, and shes already seen me cry too many times. Seeing her wince and jump every time he goes on a shouting tirade is awful, and its finally my last straw.
Unfortunately I don't have any family members who can help me, and I need to rent & furnish somewhere so I can begin to build a stable and secure life for my child.
I can't put my real name to this just in case he finds out. So far physical violence has been mostly just a threat, apart from a few shoves. I am terrified that will change if he finds out what I'm trying to do.

All I want is a peaceful life with my girl, and to raise her away from this sort of thing so she doesn't grow up thinking its normal.
