Story
Emergency Care United are a group of Staff Members based within the Emergency Care Unit (A&E/PAU) within Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital. We are aiming to fundraise in order to enhance patient's and caregivers' time within our department as best we can, BUT, we need your help.
We have already managed to carry out multiple improvements. These include, v-shaped feeding pillows for mothers and babies, patient bedside booklets which provide information for patients and families regarding ward information and local amenities etc, wheelchairs to assist immobile patients and Phillips patient monitoring which enables accurate monitoring of patients and can help to identify a deteriorating child. These are only a handful of our current improvements.
More improvements and information about us can be viewed on our Twitter page: https://twitter.com/ECUnited_RACH
Future suggestions for improvements can also be made to our twitter page. :)
The donations will go directly to our Shared Governance Council (Emergency Care United), who are actively trying to develop and improve the department in order to enhance patient's care and time in hospital. Fundraising in association with the Archie Foundation
