Story
These dogs are quite literally starving to death on the streets. Venezuela is in a terrible humanitarian crisis at the moment and just ONE bag of dog food costs a whole month‘s salary there. We are their only chance to get food and medicine.
There are thousands of street dogs who are forced to eat anything they can find - the amazing volunteers do the best they can to get food and veterinary treatment to the most vulnerable dogs - mixing chicken‘s feet with pumpkin and rice, just to give them some strength, some warmth in their tummies, but they urgently need help. We work with two small teams of volunteers there who work miracles - you can’t believe the obstacles they overcome to feed and give veterinary treatment to these animals. We are trying to send aid to 28 team volunteers who will feed over 500 animals between them - mainly street dogs but also some vulnerable dogs and cats brought to safety who now also have no food and are suffering.
Would you donate a sack of food? Each small sack costs £10 and large sacks cost £20 but if you can only afford a couple of pounds, that’s excellent too! A donation of £2 gives FOUR street dogs a meal. Every donation is gratefully received so please don’t be put off if you can’t afford a whole sack."
NOTE: We understand that donating to an online campaign can be worrying so we prefer to be completely transparent - our charity’s registration numbers are below and my own name is on the campaign. If you want to speak to somebody before donating (or prefer our UK charity bank account details) - please just send a message and I will give you our telephone number. You can also see many years of posts on our main facebook page www.facebook/animalangelsglobal if you want to see what we do before donating. We work very hard on very limited resources so if you would like to fundraise or volunteer for us, we always need lots of help. We’d love to have you on board!
*please note that as we are still fundraising for this campaign, we have taken 'Christmas out of the copy for clarity.
