As many of you will know i am off to Vietnam, nursing for a month, volunteering within their local hospital. Vietnam is a third world country and therefore their way of living and access to facilities, that we sometimes take for granted, is completely different to ours. Whilst over there i would love to try and make a difference to at least one family’s life, i will feel like i have done my job, as a nurse, properly then. Work the World, the company i am travelling with advise that if we wish to donate towards their hospitals, communities, schools, families and children then to try and gather donations in which the money can be used to purchase items that are needed while i am in Vietnam instead of taking things with me. If anyone wishes to support me and contribute just a small amount to try and make a difference to these peoples lives then i would be extremely grateful and i am more than certain that they will be to.
