This crowdfunding is towards something unlike what you have seen/funded before- It is for me, a Science Teacher in my 30's with High Functioning Autism and only last year was diagnosed with ADHD....So why am I asking for funds if "I seem like i'm doing just fine"? Well- I have taught on and off for 5 years and because of my disability, I have only ever succeeded in either short-bursts like: Maternity, Sick, Term cover etc.

All I wish to achieve is Fiscal STABILITY, so I don't have to wake up and fall asleep to foreboding anxiety of my future..."Give a man a fish".....expression comes to mind.

This money will help by funding me (hopefully for 3 terms- 1 academic year) while I can professionally develop into a more confident and competent teacher for years and years to come, starting from the foundation of the lesson plans I will complete in my sabbatical time.

My aim in this academic year is to:

Understand, research and apply a new found and intense knowledge in my chosen curriculum at GCSE Level in my subject specialism.

With this, I would apply aforementioned knowledge onto creating as many Lesson Plans as I can humanly possible! Based on many various reputable sources- Luckily the ‘Over focus’ characteristic of my ADHD makes this a winning combo with the razor-sharp attention to detail, trends and book-smartness

......So, to witness this kind gesture of not only funds but also believing in me and my "big project" will skyrocket my well-being into the stratosphere!

I also wish to make more practical use of the precious time and funds bestowed upon me by taking up a completely new language- German. I have started already but the class has already taken a bit of a chunk off my account and I have to hurry up the free class, as it costs £55 after 4 weeks.

This makes my well-being, time and my bank account a little stretched hence why I am here- It would be excellent to gain funding for this just so I can get by, having to spend it on: Rent, Oyster card, food/drinks/essentials, a basic health, fitness and well-being boost at a gym and just not to be a total recluse and see my friends and network to give me chance of future work; just to life healthily, have that balance in life and have a stable, confident and powerful push and encouragement from you all.

With this venture, you are my friends and family because unfortunately this is the kind of thing my family would consider a "pipe-dream" and they would say "Just wake up and just get a teaching job and also, make it last with no fuss!".....it doesn't work that way, I know personally how that method concludes- Temporarily!

I would just like to be given a opportunity from you, because it's not just gut-feeling but also, fierce logic, strategy and so much more that will come of this.

One last thing before I go- this project will pay dividends into my long-term future and from the first contribution I want to prove and hopefully encourage others with Invisible Disabilities to be brave and ask for the help/encouragement that they need and I can show them that if I can do it so can they!

.........So be proactive and prove me right while instilling hope into me and others like me, who are not only invisible in disability but also in life. We all have so much to give into our careers, community and society; so please consider my brutally honest plea and fund my cause.
