We are trying to fundraise for our volunteering trip to Thailand! We will be spending time teaching at a school in Surin, with children aged 5-16. We will be planning and teaching English lessons for the children, focusing on communication and encouraging the children to have fun learning English. Also we will be volunteering at an elephant sanctuary near Bangkok. The majority of the cost associated with this goes towards the sanctuary allowing them to continue care for the elephants. This is one of the few sanctuaries in Thailand dedicated to the wellbeing of the elephants as opposed to being used as a tourist attraction.
