Story
ICS Volunteers support a project delivered by VSO Tanzania called RISE Income For School Education. VSO is working here for the purpose of improving learning outcomes for the marginalized children.
The overall intermediate outcome for the RISE || Project are:
- Improved quality of primary education
- Improved household food security for 2,880 marginalized households
- Improved household income through farming for 120 lead farmers
- Increased institutional capacity in education and agriculture
- ICS Volunteers on this project will work on developing teaching aids, establishment/strengthening of school clubs and community/parents mobilization for school education engagement.
