Hello and welcome to my JustGiving page !

I will be running the Sheffield Half Marathon on the 14th of April and I have decided to raise money for the Tavistock Muscular Dystrophy Group. This will be in memory of my close friend’s brothers who both suffered from duchenne muscular dystrophy and whom both benefited greatly from the services that this charity provides.

The charity runs a yearly holiday for people with the same condition. This allows everyone involved to have an enjoyable week but also creates a community that many of these individuals would consider similar to that of a second family. The group of volunteers also run social events throughout the year in order to provide fun opportunities for these like-minded individuals.

Seeing how important the charity has been to those closest to me, I would love to raise some money to support the charity in continuing their hard and valued work.
