I am travelling to Cambodia on a four week expedition in the summer of 2019 hoping to make a difference. As part of this trip I will be visiting a local school in Cambodia who don’t have such good education or facilities as we have in the UK. I will be getting involved in developing and building classrooms as well as planting trees to help address the large amounts of deforestation in Cambodia. The £1,500 raised will go towards the cost of my trip. I will be travelling alongside my piers from Headington and the Camps International team.

I think we all believe that all children deserve access to an education that will give them the foundations for a bright future. Specifically as part of our project we will be building new classrooms so that more children can attend school in a safe environment, constructing school desks ensuring the children have a proper place to work and the construction of proper toilets, increasing hygiene and privacy for students.
