Yes this is another marathon on another just giving page. And (hopefully) another 10 pounds you'll feel obliged to spend. But why?

Recently my Dad has needed the help of the Morriston Cardiac Centre in Swansea. The process was a long one and we were in and out of hospital for many months. I really can't overstate just how thankful I am for to all of the staff who looked after my Dad. For over six years I have studied, and now work full time in the NHS, but when visiting my Dad it all felt very different. It's easy to see massive impact that hospital staff can have for patients and their families. Their's was a brilliant team effort which they strive to repeat every day.

I really feel that their care was exemplary and I am determined to give something back. So, on the 14th of April I'm going to run the Paris marathon. I hand't originally planned to make it a fund raising event. However, it would be great to use this as a means to help them further their work and research.
