This family is in financial hardship, single parent with 3 children. I have a large amount of debts, I struggle to provide to feed myself and my children, I'm behind on essential bills, living expenses and dread working out what's left for food shopping.

I am in financial hardship, single parent with 3 children. I have contacted step change for help and advice as my debts are affecting my health and causing stress and worry. I do not see a way out or it getting better any sooner.

I am on ESA, child benefit and child tax credits with a reduction. I struggle to provide to feed myself and my children, I'm behind on essential bills, living expenses and dread working out what's left for food shopping.

I moved due to domestic violence, harassment, intimidation and attacks on my home and myself.

My children attend school 12 miles each way from home now.

My daily miles are 46miles totalling 226miles per week.

I have looked into help with public transport costs but have been refused as not eligible as my choice they stay at those schools since we moved. My girls, 1 is in her last few months and the other has just over a year. She has had issues but the last year she has shown great signs of improvement and academic progress. Moving them at this late stage could do more harm than good.

I have appealed and contacted local councillors to help but still there is no way help for public transport fares is available in my case.

My lad is looking at moving to a local school but there is no spaces at present and I'm going that way to take the girls so it seems pointless and would affect school drop off and pickup greatly.

With my petrol cost totalling nearly £50 a week my food budget is gone.

As mentioned previous I have ongoing ill health and it is becoming worse and will be requiring several surgeries that will impact on my mobility short term and being able to drive.

My reason for contact is to reach out and see if you can provide any help with utility top up or food parcels? Food banks do help but are limited and I am struggling with these.

This is embarrassing but I have piled weight on and do not have underwear as it has been so long that I have been able to afford these I do without and my dignity has gone out the window. I feel so ashamed and embarrassed by this hugely.

I am heading for a breakdown as I feel so ill, depressed and such a failure to my children that I can not provide for them. Things seem to just be getting worse and worse. This is why I am trying to loose my pride and seek help.

If there is any help you can provide this will be fabulous or if you can point me in any direction to seek advice or help that would be useful.
