We are a gay family and we run non profit making group, run by myself (mammabee) my wife (nutter) my son (finch and daughter (meee...), and full of over 50 *FUNKEY BUGZ*

We allow EVERYONE of all ages races genders, abilities to join us and get fit whilst being funkey through dance.We all have full time jobs, therefore run this group twice a week in the evenings after work, as our hobby,

We tour and perform all over portsmouth on week-ends at where we have been invited by all different events either big or small carnivals,fetes,gala,s.

all VOLUNTARY.( and all their time and effort and travel they give for free to simply enjoy the fun we have and bring everywhere we go)

We have been naturally supporting Pride now for many many years, but as a group we have had the honour for the past 3yrs to Perform at the start of their day & then Lead their entire parade all the way to the festival main event arena,

For us and so many in our group that is such a huge honour and privilege, and actually a very big brave step to achieve specially infront of public depending on their own personal goals, so we all have a huge amount of respect and pride ourselves in doing it.

We make sure we bring LOUD & PROUD CARNIVAL atmosphere, massive smiles lots of color, fantastic music and routines, unlimited support to the gay community, and of course it brings our mixed group of straight and gay together as one for a very special day.

As i said earlier we have always been SUPPORTERS, but now having been asked yet again for our 4th year running to perform & lead, has made me so proud, that i would really love our group to not just be known as SUPPORTERS, but i would really love our group to be able to say we are also actually *SPONSORS*,

This is where i need some help to achieve this if at all possible, everything within our group is personally funded by myself or any of us 4 family members, apart from the small session fee, which has stayed the same for past 2-3yrs, which i always use to pay for our venue hire and any licences or if i need to purchase music etc, other than that performance accessories or equipment etc, our family funds, so that means to simply pay £500 sponsor i sadly can,t do on my own.

So i thought i would ask if anyone could help our group raise this goal, so that we can hand it over very PROUDLY to Portsmouth Pride Committee, towards this years event, and qualify along with others that can sponsor more freely, which would then entitle our group to a package involving some amazing advertising, and our own group logo sharing on their big official media prints or websites,and even maybe give us the chance for a selected few of a meet n greet with some incredible artists performing, and who knows if we were lucky enuff maybe even a GROUP pic with main head line act.

All of this to me would be incredibly special, because if i could reward our group for all the heart felt effort they give, for this day to not only support our gay family, which they do always, but the support and love they all offer the community, and how proud they all are on the day to be a massive part, would i do feel be a dream come true.I can never thank them enuff for wot they all give all year round everywhere we go, So i thought to have that extra special mention or title of *FITnFUNKEY SPONSORS* yes this year *OFFICIAL SPONSORS* not just supporters of Portsmouth Pride 2019 would be a massive way to try and say thank you.

So that's why i thought ok i will see if i can raise whats needed for us to qualify for the silver package, and see if we can do it.

Portsmouth Pride event is June 22nd 2019, so we have time to smash this, and over past 2yrs with my own events i have organised and hosted we managed to raise over £5k for those charities have needed it. So this is way smaller, but massively bigger as a thank you from our family, if we can do it.

We have beautiful members with so many different abilities,either themselves or within their families ranging from battling or BEATEN cancer,ms sufferers,hypothyroidism,eating disorders,grief,recovering addicts,down syndrome,heart surgeries,vision impairments, hearing impediments,no coordination beginner dancers,mental health issues, autism,anxiety(all levels) disorders,depression,low or NO self esteem,lack of socializing skills or courage,we have even had a double amputee join us for a short while, she was amazing,

we have members with polycystic kidney disease (PKD), we have all shapes and sizes,working and smashing slimming world goals by the stone full.we have amongst us gay,straight &,bi, and we support cerebal palsy as one of our previous members daughter suffers with this and again for us this is incredibly inspirational to watch and learn support and understand some daily battles, these members suffer with all their unique struggles along the way we have supported and fund raised for S.A.D.S & S.I.D.S & Domestic Abuse.

All of the above includes their children who we call our *LIL BUGZ* and of course we welcome them to our sessions with their own scheduled times.

So as you can see for us and my family it is most certainly NOT about the money as we do it for free as our hobby, but what we have gained within this group NO AMOUNT of money could cover, completely (PRICELESS)

So if you can help me or us in anyway to achieve this from our Group and help me help them feel even more recognized and celebrities that they all very much DESERVE every single one of them i would be so so thankful.
